At Roslin Nursery, careful consideration is given to each individual child’s needs and stage of development. The transition to the Bluebell’s class is sensitively planned with the staff and parents. Our Bluebells room provides care and education to children aged from approximately 2 years and 9 months to 5 years. Activities are planned in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and the seven areas of learning.
There is a more structured approach in our nursery class and our aim is to create a learning environment where the atmosphere is informal and fun.
The equipment provided has been carefully chosen to enable children to learn through their play, build on their team work skills and also to develop a growing confidence and independence. Early I.T. also plays a part in the nursery class day and computer skills are developed with support and encouragement.
